Toronto/LA based, composer/producer Dan Goldman has amassed a unique and varied body of work that has spanned 15 years. Most recently, Goldman collaborated with Astronaut Chris Hadfield on orchestral arrangements for a record largely recorded in orbit, played guitar and keys in Hydra — the 7 headed Juggernaut featuring Feist, and created performance piece “The Treatment” along with Torquil Campbell (Stars) and Daniela Gesundheit (Snowblink) for Toronto’s Luminato Festival. On his own time and left to his own brooding, Dan has created three collections of songs. The second record, entitled Luxury Pond, was made in collaboration with Owen Pallett and won the KM Hunter Award. The new record, Champion of the Afterworld, was made with the Pendercki String Quartet and producer David Travers-Smith in Toronto and will be released in early 2017.
